Colors of Gratitude

Spring 2022 Colors of Gratitude is Sun., April 3 at 4:00 p.m.

Kol Ami’s Care and Concern and Tikkun Olam teams partner with acclaimed illustrator and inspirational speaker Joanne Fink to provide her gratitude cards that can be printed, colored, and distributed.  This initiative began in the early days of the COVID pandemic.  It continues today as an effort to strengthen our individual practices of daily gratitude as well as our expressions of thankfulness to everyday heroes in our midst.

Color and send your own cards via email to first responders and hospital staff, including those on this recommended distribution list. Bring cards with you when running errands to bring a smile to food chain workers, healthcare providers, pharmacists, retail employees, and all the people who make our lives better through their efforts. Or, hang a gratitude card on your door or mailbox to thank workers delivering packages or mail to your home.

Our Spring 2022 program is being held for a 3rd year in partnership with the Jewish Federation of Greater Washington’s Good Deeds Week and its focus on food insecurity.  We encourage all who attend to consider a donation of thanks to the Capital Area Food Bank or its national partner Feeding America.
