Kingdom of Olives and Ashes Discussion Group

Posted on November 25, 2018

November 25, 2018 @ 7:00 pm – 8:15 pm –

The discussion will be led by Herb Levy and Allan Kellum (of the UUCA). We’ll read and discuss books about Israel and Palestine. The Kingdom of Olives and Ashes is a book of essays edited by Michael Chabon and Ayelet Waldman and contains a collection of essays by them and 24 other international writers. The book offers a glimpse into the human cost of fifty years of Israeli occupation of the West Bank. For this third session, we’ll discuss stories nine through twelve in the book. This discussion group is jointly sponsored by Kol Ami and the UUCA. We’ll be in the Chapel.
