Kol Ami — The Northern Virginia Reconstructionist Community

Shabbat Healing Service and Observance of Shavuot

Posted on June 8, 2019

June 8, 2019 @ 10:00 am – 12:00 pm –

A combination of prayers, poems, meditations, and songs will lift and comfort you. Our three themes, touched on throughout, are Loving Kindness, Hope and Courage.

Everyone is encouraged to come with a healing intention or intentions – a hope or aspiration for yourself, a friend or loved one who is need of healing, or the wider circle of community, nation or world. The Torah will be chanted, and lessons drawn from the experience of our ancestors journeying through the wilderness. We’ll be in the chapel downstairs at the UU.
