Kol Ami — The Northern Virginia Reconstructionist Community

Shabbat Sukkot led by Rabbi Gilah Langner

Posted on October 3, 2020

October 3, 2020 @ 10:00 am – 12:00 pm –

This week, Rabbi Gilah will be leading our Shabbat Sukkot service at Kol Ami. We will be davening a joyous Hallel, waving the lulav and etrog, praying to be saved (“Hosha Na! — the origin of the word “hosanna”). We’ll also engage in text study, learning and discussing how our rabbis urged Jews to respond to plagues and other catastrophes in different times and places.
