Shabbat Morning Service with Guest Hazzan Sabrina Sojourner

Posted on November 7, 2020

November 7, 2020 @ 10:00 am – 12:00 pm –

On Shabbat Vayera, regardless of whether or not we know the outcome of the Presidential election, we must find a way to move into an unpredictable future. What do we have to give up in order to be with what is so? Who do we need to accept to move forward with openness? What are the dreams we need to mourn? What are the dreams we need to cultivate? Most importantly, what instruction can our ancient text provide us?

Sabrina Sojourner describes herself as a leader of Jewish communal prayers, a community chaplain, a lifecycle officiant, a facilitator of important conversations, and as someone who leads and teaches with vulnerability.  We are excited she will once again be bringing her beautiful voice and spirit to lead Shabbat services at Kol Ami.
