Due to a family emergency, Reggie Harris will not be able to join us live on Saturday morning. The service will instead feature pre-recorded performances that Reggie is preparing for our use. To help Kol Ami observe the birthdays of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and Abraham Joshua Heschel and the first parsha in Shemot (Exodus) that begins the story of Moses, Herb Levy & Leslie Lesner will lead this service featuring pre-recorded performances by Reggie Harris.
Reggie combines spirituals and roots music, historic inspiration, and moving original songs, often in the themes of unity and social justice. Knowing this, audiences have bestowed upon him a fitting slogan: “Songs of Joy, Hope, and Freedom.”
Our services are open the wider community. For registration information, click the above event link.
