REGISTRATION IS NOW CLOSED.
For over 2,000 years, Sephardic Jews have been welcoming the new year with a special Seder that features seven blessings with seven symbolic foods, deepening the meaning of the holiday. Join chef Susan Barocas to explore the history, blessings and foods of the Seder with the option of cooking along as Susan demonstrates making several dishes. Upon registration, participants will receive instructions for ingredients and equipment to have ready if cooking along. All participants also receive a handout of the blessings and recipes to create a meaningful, memorable Rosh Hashanah Seder experience at home, or to join on Sunday Sept. 20 for the Shirat HaNefesh Seder. (Free, but donations welcome.)
