Kol Ami — The Northern Virginia Reconstructionist Community

Kabbalat Shabbat and Hebrew Reading Class Celebration led by Marcel Infeld

July 14, 2017, 7:30 pm - 8:30 pm
Unitarian Universalist Church of Arlington
4444 Arlington Blvd.
Arlington, VA 22204

Six Kol Amites aged 17 to 70 have learned to read Hebrew in recent weeks!  Please join us in honoring their accomplishments at a dramatic and fun Kabbalat Shabbat service.    Children will be involved.  A child will select a random page from the siddur while another will choose the name of an honoree from a box.  The honoree will then read a few lines from that page.  One honoree will be participating remotely. The honorees just want to show off what they have learned.  They are Erin Bueno de Mesquita,  Dayna Davitz,  Lynda Erinoff,  Carolyn Gray,  Emily Schwartz Greco and Maya Koch. Please bring a dessert to share. We’ll be in the Chapel.
