 e led by Jim North and Rachel Friendly.  Our guest speaker is Alan Goldbe
 rg\, Professor Emeritus at Syracuse University's School of Education.\nUnt
 il 2018\, Dr. Goldberg was also the Director of a Certificate Program in H
 olocaust and Genocide Studies at Syracuse.\n\nDr. Goldberg's topic will be
  "Holocaust and Humor."  Recent sitcoms such as Curb Your Enthusiasm have
  used humor as a backdrop in portraying issues surrounding the Holocaust.
   This program will look at examples of humor in Holocaust-related films 
 and sitcoms and discuss their relevance for our contemporary understanding
  of the Holocaust.\n
