June 21, 2020, 9:30 am - 10:00 am
On Sunday, June 21, following minyan which starts at 9:00, we’ll consider parasha Korach, named for the leader of a serious rebellion against Moses. Korach, along with 250 cohorts and their family members, met a devastating end: the earth swallowed them all. The story is not so tidy, though – what lessons are there for leaders, followers, and those among the latter who are ambitious? Mike Jawer will guide a half-hour discussion from 9:30-10. No pre-existing knowledge of the parasha is needed…simply a desire to consider interesting issues among friends.
