Tu BiShvat Seder

January 20, 2019, 5:00 pm - 6:30 pm
Unitarian Universalist Church of Arlington
4444 Arlington Blvd.
Arlington, VA 22204

Kol Ami is monitoring the weather for Sunday.  In the event of extreme weather or if the Arlington school system is closed, the Seder will be rescheduled.  Check back on Sunday morning at 11:00 am for an update.

The Seder is a festive gathering, featuring fruits and nuts in honor of the Jewish holiday of Tu BiShvat, the New Year of the Trees. Although Tu BiShvat has become a modern Jewish environmental holiday, the Seder comes from the Kabbalists of Safed, Israel in the 16th century who associated specific fruits and nuts with a mystical understanding of the world. Our JCEP families will be on hand as we sample fruits and nuts from the four worlds and renew our commitment to healing this planet.

Please let us know if you’ll be coming and sign up to bring one or more of the items we’ll need to celebrate
