Jason Wright serves as the music arranger and co-director of the Kol Amite musicians, helping shape the sound and spirit of Kol Ami’s musical offerings. He holds a Bachelor of Music in Horn Performance and Music Education from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, and a Master of Music and Artist Diploma from the Yale School of Music, where he studied with Paul Ingraham. For 14 years, Jason performed in orchestras across Mexico, including over a decade as principal horn of the Orquesta Sinfónica Sinaloa de las Artes. Now based in the Washington D.C. area, he performs and teaches horn while also working as a multilingual learner educator with Fairfax County Public Schools.
