At Kol Ami, we believe in a participatory community. Each year, we invite all members to contribute their time, talents, and passion. Whether helping with setup and cleanup for Shabbat services or supporting special events, your participation makes a difference in sustaining our congregation.
Membership Dues:
Kol Ami offers a variety of membership options to meet the needs of all individuals and families. All local memberships include access to High Holiday services.
Regular Membership Dues: Single: $850 I Family: $1,525
Sustainer Membership Dues: Those who are able and willing are invited to join at Sustainer Levels, which better reflect the costs of running our congregation and help provide financial stability. Single: $1,320 I Family: $2,750
Under 30 Membership Dues: Single: $180 I Family: $324
Out of Town Friends Membership: For those who live outside the Washington, D.C. area, including former members who have relocated, we offer a Friends of Kol Ami membership. Annual dues: $325
Pro-Rated Dues: New members who join after January 1st will pay half the regular dues amount. Payments made for High Holiday services can be applied to the current year’s dues.
Financial Hardship Assistance: Kol Ami is committed to making membership accessible to everyone. If you’re facing financial hardship, we encourage you to reach out to Kol Ami’s Treasurer or Rabbi for a confidential conversation about payment plans or assistance options.
