Kol Ami offers a plethora of opportunities for families to get connected!
Our Jewish Children’s Education Program (JCEP), provides our children with strong connections to Jewish traditions, culture, and ethics as well as prayers and the Hebrew language. From age 6 thru 12, children dive into Jewish living and Hebrew prayers within a warm and supportive environment. Our program features dedicated parent-teachers and intimate class sizes, ensuring that every child receives personalized attention. At Kol Ami, we make religious education an enjoyable and engaging adventure.
We are happy to connect you with a teacher to learn more about the program. You may also schedule a time to observe a class. Families must be or become Kol Ami members before enrolling their children. Learn more about the program here JCEP Hebrew School.
This immersive program is a joyful introduction to Shabbat, filled with Jewish song, movement, storytelling, and prayer. It’s a special time for kids and the people who love them to come together in a warm, welcoming environment. The program starts at 11 am and at noon families are invited to join the kiddush with the rest of the community. Check out this year’s dates and learn more here Tots Shabbat.
Let go of the week with a relaxed and joyous Shabbat dinner oriented to Kol Ami families, several times a year. Holidays at Kol Ami are aimed at engaging kids and families. Make latkes at our Hanukkah party! Test your skills at our Purim Carnival! Make s’mores on Lag B’Omer! We have Children’s Services on High Holidays, sukkah decorating and stories, dancing with the Torah on Simchat Torah, and other programs on Tu B’Shvat, Passover, and more.
Junior Schmooze was started in late 2019 when long-time congregant identified a need in the congregation to bring Kol Ami teens together on a regular basis for social and service oriented activities.
