Come join us for a special Shabbat morning as we meet one of our wonderful rabbinic candidates!
This week, due to space constraints, we are shifting our service times. We’ll begin with learning and discussion before moving into services at 9:30 am. Kiddush will follow, from 11:30-12:30.
From 8:30–9:30 am, Rabbi Emily Howard Meyer will lead a Teaching & Discussion session exploring Jewish texts and traditions. Join us to learn, discuss, and discover new insights together.
At 9:30 am, Rabbi Emily will lead our Shabbat service in song, prayer, and community. She was ordained in April 2025 by the Academy for Jewish Religion and is a DMV-based rabbi who serves as a chaplain at the Hebrew Home and at The Revitz House at Charles E. Smith Life Communities.
After the service, stay for Kiddush Plus, featuring lox, bagels, and all the fixings! Please bring a side dish or dessert to share.
