Intro to Judaism/Conversion Course Begins This Fall

Rabbi Gilah Langner and Mike Jawer will be leading an introductory course on Judaism this fall. Whether you’re curious about Jewish traditions or considering conversion, this class offers a welcoming space to explore Jewish life and thought.

Organizing Meeting: If you’re interested in the course, an initial organizing meeting will be held on June 17th, 7:30 p.m. on Zoom, to meet one another, share questions and interests, and tailor the syllabus to the participants’ interests.  For Zoom information, please contact us.

The course itself begins on September 7th. Together, we’ll explore daily and weekly practices that bring spiritual meaning into your home and routine, ways to make Shabbat and Jewish holidays joyful and meaningful, insights from Jewish history and the rich diversity of Jewish cultures, and how Jews—both traditionally and today—think about some of life’s most important questions.
