Join us for our annual Tashlich Picnic on Friday afternoon, the second day of Rosh Hashanah. We’ll convene at the Jennie Dean Park ( 3630 27th St South, Arlington) at 5:30 pm. Rabbi Bruce Aft will lead us in the Tashlich ritual — symbolically sending away our sins and bad habits by dropping pebbles, leaves, and other natural material into the stream. Then we’ll move to the covered shelter for a potluck picnic as we celebrate the holiday and wish one another a good, sweet year. Thank you to Scott Winter and Josh Mazen for coordinating.
Kol Ami will provide the main courses for our picnic dinner. Folks whose last names start with the letters A-E should bring drinks, F-L should bring desserts, and M-Z fruit, veggies, or dips with chips/veggies. Please give your dog a shanah tovah kiss and leave him or her at home.
