SimpliSafe Instructions

Below are the instructions for using our SimpleSafe security system.  A copy of these instructions should be available with the equipment at the UUCA.

Before Services:

Bring the orange bag  hanging in the closet plus the white Simplisafe “base” into the Activity Room.  Plug in the base next to the speaker cabinet in the Activity Room.

Turn OFF the system:  

1. Press OFF on the keypad
2. Enter code 9173 on the keypad

Turn ON the system:

1. Press HOME on the keypad
2. Give the panic buttons to two people to hold during services (usually the service leader and one of the hosts).  

• Please do not place the panic button in a pocket; it can too easily be set off by accident. 

**If you set off the alarm by accident, turn it off, and then immediately call the Arlington Police non-Emergency number at 703-558-2222 to report a false alarm.

After Services:

Turn  OFF the system:

1. Press OFF on the keypad
2. Enter code 9173 on the keypadUnplug the base

• Put panic buttons in boxes, and put boxes and keypad in the orange bag
• Hang the bag next to the light switch in the closet
• Plug the base into the outlet in the closet, and set the base on a shelf nearby or in the orange bag.
