Michael Jawer

Michael Jawer chairs the Adult Education Committee.  He’s been a proud Kol Ami member for two decades.  For nine of those years he taught in the Jewish Children’s Education Program (JCEP).  Besides occasionally leading or co-leading services, he chants Torah and offers parasha commentaries.  

Mike and his spouse Bonnie live in Vienna with their children Gabrielle and Bradley – both JCEP alumni. His day job is with a public affairs firm whose work supports the VA.  Mike hails from suburban Philadelphia (headquarters of Reconstructionist Judaism), and professes to sometimes see God’s hand in the fortunes of the Eagles, Phillies, Flyers, and Sixers
