Please join Susan Freiband for a participatory Kabbalat Shabbat service, celebrating Rosh Chodesh Cheshvan. Leslie Lesner will lead the singing parts of the service. The service will include poetry and Zen-inspired translations of the psalms. People will be asked to read some of the prayers included in the service.

Join Kol Ami for a Tikkun Olam project to remove trash and invasive plants from Glencarlyn Park. There will also be a short educational program to learn more about the impact of invasive plants on our planet and how you can help. After the service project, you are welcome to hang out at the park to schmooze and enjoy the trails and nature center. (Here is information about Long Branch Nature Center.) Kol Ami is partnering with EcoAction Arlington and Arlington County Remove Invasive Plants (RIP) for this project.
