With the sabbatical/shmita year starting on Rosh Hashanah, delve into the texts and concepts with Rabbi Gilah and Herb Levy.  We’ll touch on debt relief, agricultural practices, and how idealism meets reality.  You don’t need any prior knowledge of Bible, economics, or agriculture! We’ll be discussing Shmita on Rosh Hashanah morning, and these two sessions (the second one on August 17) will help shape the questions we ask and areas we explore.
