Summer is soon coming to an end! But the warmth and the bounty are still with
us, most schools have not started yet, the pace for many is still a bit slower and
more relaxed – and we are getting ready, very soon, for the start of a new Jewish
year.
So what better time to join your Kol Ami community for a low-key but joyful
Kabbalat Shabbat service this coming Friday? We’ll have some uplifting music;
offer our prayers, at a moment when this world sorely needs our prayers; and
learn a little Torah.
And one small special request: Please bring some chocolate with you! Why, you
ask? Well … some pleasant mysteries need to wait to be revealed.
We’ll be together for just an hour, and the service will be appropriate for people
of all ages. Here is the link to the Shabbat Siddur.
Richard Ruth and Jim North will be leading.
