January 22, 2021, 7:30 pm - 8:30 pm
In these fraught times, unity of body, mind, and spirit is essential for us to feel centered – and fully connected with God and our fellow human beings.
This Friday evening, join a moving Kabbalat Shabbat led by Rabbi Diane Elliot, a spiritual teacher, poet, dancer, and somatic therapist who’s based in California’s Bay Area. Before becoming a Renewal rabbi, she trained for over 30 years with Bonnie Bainbridge Cohen, the creator of Body-Mind Centering, a well-regarded somatic approach. Through awareness and movement, chant and nuanced focus on prayer, Rabbi Elliott will inspire us to become clearer channels for devotion, purpose, and calm.
Visitors are welcome, but must register by 4:00 p.m. on Friday, January 22nd to guarantee receipt of the Zoom link before the start of the service.
