We welcome you to join us this Saturday morning for a special service at Kol Ami. Hazzan Sabrina Sojourner will lead our Juneteenth service with song, poetry, and prayer. Rabbi Gilah will lead the Torah service during which we’ll honor new members who joined Kol Ami over the past two years of pandemic. If you’re thinking of trying out life in community, what better time to visit and meet our members, new and old!
Hazzan Sabrina and Rabbi Gilah will also be hosting a conversation on how to make our congregation welcoming to Jews of color, and more generally, how American Jewish synagogues can enlarge their concept of Jewish identity. We think you’ll want to be part of the discussion. Join us at the UUCA in person or on Zoom. A potluck kiddush will follow at noon.
