A chance to brush up on key prayers and bring them to life, at Rabbi Gilah’s annual Learning Service. We’re all learners and teachers, and we’ll share our individual and collective wisdom as we move gently through the service. In the second hour, keying off the Torah portion, Tetzaveh, our discussion will center on the history of Jewish textile art — from the tabernacle in the desert to 18th and 19th century works of fabric art from Persia, Turkey, Europe and the Middle East, down to modern symbolic textile artists.
