Shabbat Shmini Atzeret
October 10, 2020
10:00 am - 12:00 pm
We will gather on October 10 to celebrate Shemini Atzeret, a Jewish holiday many of us do not know much about – but will learn about by experiencing it together.  Sometimes considered the last day of Sukkot, and sometimes a holiday in its own right, Shemini Atzeret is a time when we close off the cycle of holidays that began with Rosh ha-Shanah, sweep away the final remnants of the year just past, and fully welcome in and open up to the new Jewish year.  Come expecting music, meaningful prayer (including Yizkor prayers to remember our loved ones who have passed on), and the joy and support of your Kol Ami community. Our services are open to the community at large. Please email Coordinator@KolAmiVirginia for registration information.
